Jean Cumings

I have been drawing, painting and crafting since I could hold a crayon.  My grandmother was a self-taught artist who began painting at age 56.  So I have always believed one is never too old to learn!  I try to capture the beauty, peace and drama found in the natural world.  The colors, textures and shapes inspire my paintings.  I love to travel and photograph wildlife and nature.  I retired from teaching Biology and Zoology several years ago, and now enjoy teaching painting and drawing, as well as working on my own projects.
