I could spend all day with my hands in clay. A re-emerging artistic mid-lifer (Yes, I was an art major in college!), I delight in the simultaneous simplicity and complexity of this marvelous, essential material and the joy it can bring to our everyday moments. I also delight in being half the Mountain Road Designs team with my husband, Brad Owens.

Before I retired, I thought of the time I spend in my woodworking shop as therapy. Now it’s a way of life and while still therapeutic, the joy of turning a beautiful piece of lumber or log into a useable work is pure pleasure. I share my passion for craft with my Mountain Road Designs partner and wife, Amy Lockwood.
