Judy Bush

Early in my adult life, I made the decision and choice to focus on the arts and crafts that had to do with sewing, quilting, and beading.  With that focus, beads have been a passion and pleasure for many years.  With an eye for detail & a creative approach to the process, I create jewelry that is rich in color and texture. Using a wide variety of beads, buttons, and small objects, I enjoy the challenge of creating items that are free-form with no set vision of the finished item.  

For the last 18 years, since retirement as an Educator for UNH Cooperative Extension, I can be found two days a week at the Bead Bush Studio, focused on supporting others in their beading journey through mentoring those in the Master Beader Program unique to BBS, and the sale of beads and my jewelry.  Using my community development skills, I started the Deerfield Arts Tour and the NH Bead Bop. 

With my husband, Burton, we’ve lived in Deerfield for 52 years and have three children: Daniel Bush, Christine Britos, and Sarah Lion, and six grandchildren, all living in the area.
