Wooden Bowls — handcrafted in a range of shapes, sizes, and wood species

Artist’s Statement
Working with wood has always been a passion of mine. Around 1997, I started a timber-frame business. Doing the joinery for each frame after sawing the logs on my sawmill was very enjoyable work. This led to all sorts of woodworking including building kitchen cabinets and furniture.
Working on a lathe is a recent hobby, I started less than a year ago inspired by two friends, Frank Bioteau and the late Greg Doane. It amazes me how I can turn scrap pieces of wood into something so beautiful that might have previously gone into the wood stove. Every bowl is unique, determined by the wood that is turned.
Studio
I look forward to seeing you on Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. The woodworking shop and bowls for sale are wheelchair accessible. You may feel like you are lost in the woods but just follow the Arts Tour map (don’t believe the GPS) and you will get here. Any questions please call.
